John Quincy Adams -"Duty is ours. Results are God's."

What am I looking for? And what have I been doing the last 3 years? It seems it was about 3 years ago that I decided I wanted to dedicate my life to love. I wanted to be defined not by a job but by my other accomplishments. I wanted to do things to make this world a better place.

I guess what happened was confusion. Philosophical confusion. Is there a heaven? If so then what of this earth? etc. etc. etc...

In order for one to want to make incredible change on earth it seems one must have a conviction that earth is the end... at least that's how it is for me anyways.

I spend my time looking for a place. Looking for someone who will pay me. Where I can fit right into a good thing. Maybe I need to start one of these?

The Government Hypocrisy

Indeed it has been shown. You mustn't have the government helping people.

If you don't have any one else to turn to to provide for you then you must rely on yourself. Relying on oneself is very difficult. Relying on oneself will lead one to call for God. When one is trying to work some work will get done. Because they are seeking God's help they will refine their moral sense and become better people. Therefore if we don't allow the government to take care of people then things will get done and people will get better.

Though not spoken in the argument directly one assumption that may or may not be an implied assumption in the argument above but perhaps need be so is that God is real.

If God is real and he desires people to rely on him, then people who rely on God will become better people.

Here's the new argument....

God is real.
God wants us to rely on him.
God is good.
If one relies on God then one does God's will.

McCain suggests we could be in for another cold war.

Atlanta, GA (AP) — Republican presidential candidate John McCain says Russia's invasion of Georgia requires a complete reexamination of U.S. relations with the Moscow government.

McCain has told reporters in Georgia that he was pleased the United States canceled a planned joint military operation with Russia. Speaking to reporters outside of his Atlanta hotel McCain said, "We will not have military operations with that woman my friends."

McCain says there should be heightened security arrangements for Alabama, Tennessee, and Florida in case the Russian armies began to spread out of Georgia. McCain did not rule out military action against Russia or a return to the Cold War saying, "An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth."

McCain noted that he had "personally slaughtered" 16 Russians since arriving in Georgia on Tuesday.

Good Times Bad Times You Know I've Had My Share
My Woman Left Home with a Broken Leg and She Forgot My Favorite Chair

I am worried about all the babies being born in America. I am worried about those born to fathers with high-paying jobs.

But don't get me wrong... I'm not a communist or anything. I just think we work a little too much.
